Preparing and positioning a stair tread

Measure & install

Four clear steps.

    Measure

    Measure every tread at its widest and deepest point. Confirm that the rounded edge profile is consistent.

    Clean

    Remove dust and residue. Let the finished surface dry fully before positioning a tread.

    Position

    Center the tread with equal side margins. Check the edge alignment before applying pressure.

  4. 04
    Press

    Work from the center outward, then follow the shaped front edge for even contact.
